Professional Photographers'
Association of Pennsylvania, Inc.

This site is a point for dissemination of information among our membership and a source of information for those interested in professional photography activities, finding a photographer, or photographic services in Pennsylvania and surrounding areas.  Membership is available to full-time professional photographers and industry suppliers.   Many of our members have web sites for information about their services with a gallery of their photos.

The organization provides education through seminars and workshops in wedding, portrait, commercial, executive, video, and fine art photography; as well as digital imaging and business practices.  Activities include quarterly meetings plus an annual convention and trade show with a print competition and exhibition.  Active within the association is a special group for PPA Certified members, and an artists group providing education in negative and print retouching, and photo restoration techniques.

Our active membership of over 250  full and part-time studios includes PPA degreed Master, Craftsman, and Certified Professional Photographers (CPP); as well as members affiliated with the American Society of Photographers (ASP) and other national organizations.  We also have a supporting membership that includes vendors and suppliers of photographic equipment and supplies, cameras, wedding albums, picture frames, props, and backgrounds; and professional photo finishing labs providing color and b&w services.
