Michele Celentano's passion for her photography career continues to grow, even after eighteen years. Photography is not a part time hobby for her, but a lifelong career with credentials to show for it! Michele graduated from the Germain School of Photography at the Center for Media Arts in New York City and began her career as a wedding photographer. Michele is one of the few female photographers to be chosen as an Canon Explorer of Light and official spokesperson for Canon USA. She has been awarded her Craftsmen Degree from the Professional Photographers of America and has earned numerous accolades from Wedding and Portrait Photographers International. She teaches wedding and portrait workshops worldwide. Her work has been published in Fuji Profiles, Rangefinder, and American Photographer magazines, as well as other professional photography publications. She studied with such industry greats as Monte Zucker, Clay Blackmore, Jack Holowitz, Joe Buissink, Denis Reggie and Hanson Fong. In 2007 alone, nine of Michele's portraits were awarded merits in the WPPI International Print Competition.
